We're featured as the Track of the Day on Garageband.com for April 24, 2006. Check out this track and four others on our latest demo, "The Many Attractions of Exit 3A."

Combine the Do-It-Yourself ethic of the 1970's punk rock movement with the lyrical sensibilities of geekcore, throw in a splash of good old-fashioned garage rock-and-roll, and you've got The Amazing Poundcakes. Formed in November of 2003, the Poundcakes are fully prepared to rock you with their original music, as well as tributes to bands as varied as The Pixies and Babes in Toyland.

A few kind words from Brian Mosher:
"...take some intelligent songs about S&M, the drug dependency that is so prevalent in our society, Japanese sex hotels, child abuse, uncontrollable sexual desire and the various ways in which we all attempt to draw attention to ourselves; play them with a combination of garage/punk guitars, surf/punk drums and neo-folkie vocals; record the whole thing professionally, but not too professionally, leaving the warts and imperfections to remind us of the humanity of the musicians who are sharing a part of themselves with us; and then turn the volume knob up to 11, and you've got the Amazing Poundcakes. When a band can make you want to dance and make you think with the same song, that's an accomplishment..."
